Seanad Éireann Election: Eligibility for Voting
Every person who is a citizen of Ireland and has received a degree (with the exception of an honorary degree) in the National University of Ireland and has attained the age of eighteen years is entitled to be registered as an elector in the register of electors (Seanad Éireann) for the NUI constituency. Ballot papers are sent to Irish citizens in Ireland and around the world.
