Ireland has changed greatly over the past decade and now more than ever the views of NUI graduates should be expressed and given a vocal platform.
Less than 1 in 6 eligible voters in the National University of Ireland constituency are currently registered to vote in Seanad Éireann elections.
Click here for a list of eligible colleges.
If you are not registered, not sure if you are registered or were previously registered but your address has changed, I would encourage you to take a couple of moments to print off and fill in the registration form below.

Completed and signed forms should be returned by post to:

Part of the reason for such a low percentage of graduates being registered is that unless a graduate has informed the NUI of a new address, ballot papers are sent to the address where they lived at the time of graduation. Most of us have moved on since then and completing and returning the above form to the NUI will ensure your ballot paper arrives at the correct address.
The National University of Ireland has suffered recently in its lack of vocal and prominent voices in Seanad Eireann. Whereas most of us are familiar with Trinity Senators David Norris and Shane Ross, who are constantly in the public eye, unfortunately few would be aware of those who represent the NUI.
In summer 2007, registered NUI graduates will be asked to elect 3 senators by postal vote. I would ask you to consider me (www.martinhogan.ie) for your vote. Whoever you decide to vote for, I would urge you to make your voice heard.
